The speed limits represent the legal speed limit and are for information purposes only. The driving speed used by the route calculation will be taken from the speed table which can be defined in the profile or the request. Each segment can have more than one speed limit as there can be more than one sign on the road. As an example, the speed limit can be 100, but 80 in rain.
With PTV xRoute Server, the speed limits can be shown in the result list of a route.
