The calculation of distance and driving periods between two locations is carried out on the fly. For the geometric-based method, a distance matrix is not necessary.
In order to calculate the single distances and driving periods between locations, you have to transfer the corresponding location pairs. For the geometric-based method, the mode GEOMETRIC has to be selected. As a result you get the distances in meters for each location pair. The driving periods are not returned, but this value could easily be calculated by the client (e.g. with a standard speed). Please note that this mode does not consider roads, bridges or tunnels.
